THE WEDDING DAY

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive by 4:00 PM so you don't miss the baraat!

This lively outdoor groom's procession will be filled with music and dancing. We'd love for everyone to join in as we celebrate on the way into the venue.

Where do I go when I arrive?

We'll be gathering in the parking lot before the ceremony to kick off the baraat.

The parking lot isn't very large, so once you arrive, just follow the music and you'll have no trouble finding the group. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

What is parking like at the venue?

Parking at the venue is free, and you're welcome to leave your car overnight if you'd rather not drive home after the celebration.

What should I wear?

Our dress code is semi-formal/cocktail or Indian attire is welcome!

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and ready to celebrate.

Need some ideas?

A suit or sport coat, sherwanis, kurtas, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, Sarees, or lehengas.

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

The baraat will take place outdoors and will last about 30 minutes, rain or shine. After that, the ceremony and reception will both be held indoors, so the rest of the evening will be comfortable regardless of the weather.

BEFORE THE WEDDING

Which airport should I fly into?

We recommend flying into Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) as the most convenient. It typically offers a wide range of flight options and is about a 20–30 minute drive from our venue and hotel recommendations.

Alternative airports include Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), located about 35–45 minutes away, and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), about 45–60 minutes away. Both are also good options.

Where should I stay?

There are a few accommodation options, including a designated room block at Turf Valley Resort.

It is about 20 minutes from the wedding venue.

Are there any events before the wedding?

Yes! We'd love for you to join us at our Welcome Party on Friday evening before the wedding.

We'll be gathering from 5-9 PM at Alexandra's Restaurant at Turf Valley Resort for drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and a chance to relax and mingle before the big day. We'll also have a henna artist on site for anyone who would like to have their henna done before the wedding festivities begin.

Whether you're arriving early or staying at the hotel, we'd love to celebrate with you and kick off the weekend together!

AFTER THE WEDDING

Where can I find photos from the weekend?

We'll share our wedding photos here on the website about 1–2 months after the wedding.
